A message from our pastor...
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
May you know the love and grace of God through Jesus Christ wherever you are in your spiritual journey. I experienced this love and grace as a young child at a Baptist church in Texas and I have continued to grow in this love and grace in a variety of Baptist, nondenominational, and Methodist churches that I have served the past 25 years.
I am married to Ronda Stewart-Wilcox. We have two young adult children by the name of Micah and Anna. Our spiritual journey as a family has taken us through Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, California, and back to Kentucky. I was appointed at Mt. Tabor in 2017.
Mt. Tabor is a small church full of people with big hearts who love serving the community around them. We cherish our diversity as we follow Jesus, and we are eager to connect with all kinds of people who are exploring spirituality, meaning in life, and other life issues that people encounter daily. You are invited to explore with us as we experience God’s grace and love together.
If you have questions, concerns, or just want to engage with a person who likes a good conversation about life and spirituality, contact me at [email protected] and we will set up a time to talk.
The greatest spiritual challenge people encounter is to accept that we are already accepted. You are invited to be part of our community of faith as we experience this acceptance together through Jesus Christ.
