Pastor

Rev. W. Musial Pearson

On June 12, 2010, Bishop Lindsey Davis appointed me to be the pastor of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.  I am delighted to be a part of the community of Centerfield and Oldham County.  I am the son of the late Rev. William Pearson and Frances Pearson, who also served in the Kentucky Annual Conference.  I have been married for 34 years to my wife Joyce and we have three children, Christina, Micah, and Mariah.  We also have three grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Sidney and Colton.

I have been pastoring United Methodist Churches since 1979.  I was ordained deacon in 1985 and elder in 1989.  I am a 1982 graduate of Cumberland College of Williamsburg, KY (now University of the Cumberlands) and a 1986 graduate of Southern Baptist Seminary, Louisville, KY.

I enjoy playing the guitar, writing songs, singing, watching most sports and occasionally have the opportunity to fish and play golf.  I am a huge University of Kentucky Wildcat fan, so if you have to ask, I bleed blue.   However, I am a Kentucky fan through and through.  When other Kentucky colleges are not playing UK, I pull for them to win.

As pastor of Mt. Tabor, I would like to personally invite you to join us for a Sunday morning worship experience and seek God's Word for your life.  If you ever need someone to just listen, to care or seek for spiritual guidance, please call me or email me.  I will do whatever I can to help.

May God bless you always,
